David’s gaming experience started at a very young age playing Asteroids, Pong, and Space Invaders on his Atari 2600. His childhood was filled with playing Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES and, as he got older, entering Pokemon Tournaments with his Gameboy. David became hooked on gaming during the many hours his friends and he spent playing Star Fox 64 and Phantasy Star Online. Nothing solidified his love for gaming more, though, than playing Halo before and after school with friends throughout middle school and into high school. After losing a family member as a young adult, David found gaming gave him peace of mind and an escape from life allowing him to cope. Because of this, video games were always important to him, but unfortunately adult life soon took over and David had to put gaming aside to make time for going back to school and working. After a few years, David realized he needed a hobby and, after reconnecting with an old friend, decided to pick up gaming again. After a short time making gaming videos for YouTube, in early 2015 David joined his friends Cory and Aaron on the Videogame BANG podcast and soon after became a writer for Nerd Reactor covering TV, movies, tech, and (of course) video games.
